These are my two MUST HAVES at the moment... I added them to my christmas list too but I'm not sure if Father Christmas is bringing them! Just got to wait and see I suppose!

What do you think of my first wish list?

'Le Ballon Rouge'

So I watched this short film called 'Le Ballon Rouge' the other day while at college!
I have to admit it touched a few heart strings...
Created and Directed by Albert Lamorisse who was also the father of the young boy who starred in the film!
Made in 1956 the short production tells the tale of a loyal red balloon that the little boy befriends and watches as the balloon becomes old and frail.

I recommend if you get half an hour free from what ever your doing to watch this film!

As you see the film is very bleak and dull until the balloon appears and brightens the scene...

The film helped me do my work for a photo shoot... Check out my up coming blog posts to see my outcomes...

The September Issue.

After watching the film 'The September Issue' I have learnt some truths about Fashion.
But that won't put me off my chosen route!

Anna Wintour; the most powerful women in America and the editor of Vogue Magazine USA is one of the main focuses of the film. The film is all about Vogue and the people behind the fabulous creation that we all love to read each month.

Anna Wintour; her now and her in her younger days.

Grace Coddington who is the Creative Director at Vogue and one of the most inspiring women of the whole film is also a main focus in the film and is featured a lot throughout.
Grace Coddington; her now and her when she was modelling.

'The September Issue' which is a documentary has given me a lot of inspiration and guidance for my next brief for college where I will be working as a stylist.
The documentary follows the making and creating of  the 2007 September Issue of Vogue Magazine.
It shows how hectic and busy a Fashion Magazine is, especially one of the biggest issues of the year such as the September/Fall issue.
I'd love to be in the middle of all the hecticness and experience the drama. I would love to travel, stylise and design for the show's, photo shoots and even just the magazine and be able to say and be proud to say I was a part of that production.

The film made me really see how much work is put in to the fashion industry and at what pace it is expected to be done in.
I have now realised I need to really keep on track or I'll fall behind, my course is only a fraction of how much work will need to be in industry and in the time limits.

XOXO

Sunday 25th September 2011.

London Fashion Weekend. (Sponsored by Vodafone).

Apologies for this post being very delayed, I hope you enjoy all the same...

On the 25th of september my Auntie and I went to London for Vodafone Fashion Weekend.
It was a really good day although it was really hot and we had a lot of travelling to do to get home.

Here's the pictures...
I thought this vintage'y arrangement was so creative and beautiful.

FEATHERED SHOES!
My Aunt loved these, especially the black ones on the model below.

These dresses were so lovely and simple but so pretty at the same time and SO expensive.

This is stunning! I love the print of the fabric and the cardigan looks so snuggly.
I also like how they'd put wings in the back to make it look angel like and dreamy.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE!! Especially the teal, blue coloured one! Nuff said!

My Aunt really liked this collection by Olivia Rubin.
Though I have to say her stuff was GORGEOUS!

This was my seat label. V.I.P!

These huge bangles were GORGEOUS but a pain to put on!

VERY weird but absolutely fabulous shoes! I love these blue ones at the front.

I really wanted these but they didn't have my size! I've asked Father Christmas for them!

Random picture of me in my playsuit (That I made) in a mirror in the vintage section.

Ooo... I do love scarves.

Ooops my finger got in the way, but look at all the shoes!

Vivienne Westwood dress! OMG! This part of the shopping halls was so glamorous and beautiful!

The above Five images are the actual building, it was HUGE!

My yummy belgium waffle with cinnamon cream and apple sauce thing! NOM!!
